A joint project between Shiva Medicare GmbH and CHIMANOS

Magnetic resonance tomography (MRT) is indispensible in orthopedic medicine today. Every year 50 million MRT exams are conducted worldwide.

This technique, requiring no X-rays whatsoever, produces an excellent image of connective tissue structures (e.g. spinal discs, menisci, cruciate ligaments, muscles, tendons). Using harmless magnetic fields, the internal structure of individual joints and organs is presented in a 3-dimensional image. .

Using state of the art open MRT imaging, we put at ease patients anxious about being enclosed inside a tube. During the procedure, patients are now in continuous communication with the Chimanos team. Children undergoing MRT gain a great degree of assurance when they can be in constant contact with their parents.

Our partners the engineers Monoi and Sanuj Chowdhury of SHIVA MEDICARE GmbH have in addition to years of experience in this field an exemplary human and skillful approach. Open MRT examinations are performed one floor above the practice (2nd floor).
